Emily is a talented photographer - her work with lighting is amazing, and she captures the emotions of her subjects beautifully. We will forever appreciate the way she was able to document our engagement and wedding day! Emily is so easy to work with - she brings ideas to the table and is open to yours as well. She is calm, kind, and relaxed but professional and reliable as well. When our wedding didn't go quite as planned (thanks, COVID!), Emily went above and beyond - she stepped into the role of dress buttoner and boutonnière master for the day and helped make our day wonderful. Emily photographed our Fall 2022 elopement in Chattanooga and captured photos better than what we ever hoped for! She was easy to communicate with even though we didn't meet her for the first time in person until the day of our wedding since we came from out of town. She even chauffeured us between our different locales! She hit the perfect balance of being helpful and directing us without feeling pushy or rushed and made sure the shots we wanted were captured. The quality of her photos is phenomenal and we were truly blown away. Emily also interacted wonderfully with our only elopement guest (our 9 year-old daughter.) We recently did our engagement photos with Emily and she did a fantastic job! Emily made us feel at ease and was able to guide us through every step. I never felt unsure what to do or worried that we weren't getting the kind of photos we would like. She even let us see how some of the photos were turning out as she was shooting!
